CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

FLOW

Expand your creativity through movement. Balancing strength and flexibility, build a solid foundation while creating space in the mind and body. Full mind-body conditioning experience. All levels are encouraged to attend. Comparable to our Ritual experience, but will be different with every class.

RITUAL

For those who seek consistency. This class is a set sequence that is the same each time you attend. This is our version of a Mysore experience where the student can work on the same set of poses week after week to see how much stronger they become. This class is an entire body, mind and soul experience.

VINYASA

A more challenging version of flow. This is a powerful practice led by ujjayi breath. The perfect place to try new postures and venture into the world of arm balances and inversions. Our highly trained teachers have all the skills to start to work you in that direction even if you have never found flight in your crow pose. This class is a blend of core work, sun salutations and dynamic postures held to build endurance and muscle memory.

RESTORATIVE

A practice that focuses on slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. Postures are held for longer periods of time while supported by blankets, pillows, blocks and straps. Expect a combination of gentle yoga postures, breathing techniques and functional movement. Allow this practice to anchor you in relaxation while building healthy breathing patterns and decreasing stress and tension from within the body.

GENTLE

A slow gentle version of the classical yoga postures. This class is designed to move you into relaxation with gentle work on flexibility, creating a peaceful state of mind and harmony within the body. Props are encouraged to support your body and mind with the ability to rest and reset. Very few downward dogs as most of your practice will be focused on reclined, kneeling, standing and seated positions.

HATHA

A  slower paced practice of classical yoga postures intelligently sequenced to allow students to truly learn and understand the proper alignment for their individual body. This practice has elements of strength while balancing flexibility and deepening your self of wellbeing with no chaturangas in sight.
